Johnathan Davis ----- Site Administrator/Founder Hello everyone, My name is Johnathan Davis and I started this whole deal up. To start with I have been a musician for about 7 years. I stared out in Somerset, KY with a band called Stillborn! I still remember the first time I stepped on stage just like it was yesterday. It was my boy B.A.'s family pig roast, I was like 15. His dads band played the show every year, and this year they decided to give us a shot... We performed Outside by Staind, well..... Sorta. I was so off key cause I was nervous and could hardly breathe. Everyone applauded once we were done all the same. From that moment on my life has been music. A year passed and the band members changed, only me and B.A. remained. Donovan Simmons and Brian Loveless soon got going with us. Well more like we got going with them, and Stillborn was created. We did a show or two but then we kinda went our own separate ways yet all of us still do music. I have to this day never met a more talented group of individuals, and I'm quite sure I never will; yet I had trouble understanding why they never got signed. Then it hit me! I called around and the cost of doing all the things necessary to get discovered is completely outrageous! I knew that I would never be able to get signed unless I found someone that did all the stuff for free......... I never did... MySpace is awesome but you have to abide by their rules, you don't have COMPLETE control over the design of your page unless you want to pay someone to code out a template for you. I needed more than that! I didn't want some prick a thousand miles away telling me that I cant put a picture of an ass on my MySpace even though it was the album cover, I didn't want to have to censor my lyrics because someone thought it was inappropriate, I didn't need guideline that kept me from expressing myself totally! If you cant pour out your soul then what the hell may I ask is the point? It was at this point that I decided I was going to help every band I could to keep from going through the same things I did; I decided that there HAS to be a cheaper and more effective way to go about getting signed and if there wasn't.... I would create one, and create I did. PEOPLE GET FAMOUS FROM MYSPACE! Look at Tila Tequila! Social networking is the way to get made, and I provide that and much more! Why not get your own site where you can do what you want? Why not be heard by hundreds of people a day? Why not get it all for free? I wanted it but no one was there to provide it for me, so therefore I have built it for all those who need it! I care a lot about music and that is the main reason I have built this site! I want to hear your stuff and I want everyone else to hear it too!  I tell everyone that when I play and I sing, my soul bleeds out through the strings, it has become my reason for being and I am dedicated to this and each and every one of you. I will use my connections in the biz to get you shows and to get you all the free promotion you can take! I do it because I know that when you get big a little piece of me will go with you. I am a small town kinda guy. I'll stick to playing the bars cause that is where I feel most at home. But with each of you that gets the chance to play in front of 5,000 plus

Brandon McCollister ----- Administrator/Co-Founder Whats up guy's? My name is Brandon McCollister, and I am a site administrator for localbandpost.com. I mostly promote bands but I have been TRYING to play guitar since I was 10..... I'm not that good and that is why I am a site administrator and promoter! LOL!
I have owned my own Computer business for the past three years check us out at JBComputerSales.com and MonroeCountyGuide.com. Now on to business. I can't recall a single day in my life that I have not listened to music at some point. I LOVE MUSIC!!! I spend a lot of my time on Myspace cruising through the music page for local bands. I have put some thought into this and I wonder WHY IN THE HELL do local bands not get free promotion? Why do you have to pay for YOUR hard work? Johnathan actually came up with the Idea (since he is a singer in a local band) and together we have taken the idea of a Myspace kind of promotion site and turned it into an industry changing 100% band backing, get your stuff out there and get signed kind of site.
I was born in Tallahassee, Fl but moved here when I was 3 years old and lived in Loudon county until a few years ago when I moved to Monroe county. Since being here several of my friends have been in bands and say that they just can't get shows or promotion. Me or my friends never had a lot of money so free stuff is REALLY important to us. They tried paying a few promoters but with a 15% finders fee standard across the industry you lose a lot of cash... Plus you have to pay for the promoters time and all sorts of random things you dont really need. They tried Myspace but they didnt have enough control and were having trouble finding graphic designers who would design graphics for them for very little money. Thats the point where I realized the system was flawed...
It takes a lot of work to write music and even more time! Musicians dont have the time to mess w/ promotion and most of the time we dont have the money. So we have built this site upon that fundamental ground. We know it is hard... We have been there, and we want to use our knowlege to help you get out there and be famous, or get heard, or make asses out of yourselves! LOL! whichever you want, just know that if you are a local Knoxville band; localbandpost.com has your back.

As a professional photographer, I have had the pleasure of listening to some great bands, not to mention photo shoots as well. Like most people I enjoy music. I enjoy great rock bands. I will listen to any music. When it bores me, I find something to pick me back up. My work has been published in magazines, newspaper and I have published. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop and can create some good material for covers. I will promote local bands that rock the house down!
